Another childhood Game Maker project. Just wanted to make it so whatever you did was naturally timed to the music, as opposed to requiring you to time it. Playing it now, the main thig I notice is that you can really only make one musical decision as the player: be shooting or don't be shooting. Different weapons and abilities that each have their own sounds and rhythms, and situations designed to make you need to swap between them in call & response ways, would make something like this feel a lot more "musical".
